The December Cruise will be the first weekend in December (4, 5 & 6) to Long Branch. The activity for Saturday evening will be a Chili Cooking Contest. This has been popular in the past. Even to the point of desperate participants who offered canned chili (you can ask Jeff Bare for more details).  We would like to expand the contest to involve more participants. Perhaps a companion contest of some culinary delight that compliments chili. The problem is . . . Nancy and I eat chili served over a baked potato with chopped onions and shredded cheese. Not much of a contest!

What we would like from you are ideas for some type of dish that would be served with chili that would be appropriate for a contest. Think about your favorite dish with chili . . . would this be a good contest? Send us your ideas . . .PLEASE.
