Gig Harbor Yacht Club has an 80' guest dock for reciprocal use at the Peninsula Yacht Basin Marina.(See blue balloon in adjacent photo.) It is located at the head of Gig Harbor bay just east of Anthony’s restaurant. LAT. 47deg. 20min N, LONG. 122deg. 35min. W. Rafting is permitted. Gig Harbor Yacht Club will provide up to 48 hours free moorage; there is a nominal charge for (30 amp) power. Arrangements for longer stays can be made through the marina owner, Jerald Harbaugh, at his going rate and upon slip availability. Jerald's hours are 0900 to 1700 7days a week. Phone / Fax 253-858-2250. Special arrangements can be made with our Commodore when a club cruise is held in the harbor for longer than two days.
The combination to the showers and security gate lock is written on the Registration Forms, which will be located in a metal box on the office windowsill, if the office is closed. Put the completed registration slip in the mail slot to the left of the door, and please fly your yacht club burgee.
Power and water are available on the dock. Shower / heads are behind the office. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. If one of our club officers or members can be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact us. We hope you enjoy your visit.
