Gig Harbor Yacht Club is an active boating and social club that celebrates camaraderie, and boating activities.  We have a positive environment of sharing knowledge and sharing good times.  Our Social Calendar is full of cruising, racing, and land-based activities that are 100% volunteer in their organization and support.

We have monthly catered Dinner Meetings, TGIF casual evenings, Men's Lunch, Ladies Night Out, Special Balls and Themed parties.  We are active on the water as well.  Check out our Boating link to explore our monthly cruises, and our participation in the Puget Sound’s Sail Racing and Power Boating competitions.

GHYC is an active part of our community with the holiday “Lighted Boat Parade”, the Gigfest celebration, as well as being a part of the Grand 14 Yacht Clubs in the Puget Sound.  We currently offer Reciprocal privileges with nearly 100 yacht clubs along the Pacific Coast and beyond.

Please explore our website to see what Gig Harbor Yacht Club is all about!

GHYC has many exciting activities on the calendar for the upcoming months!

We have been busy in the month of January, with the Dock Street Cruise and Dinners for 8.

February offers another Dinners for 8,  a WIC Luncheon at Queen City YC, Seattle, and  Power boaters have a Heavy Weather Race at Bremerton.   A very Special Event, the Shrimp Boil, is an incredible evening with shrimp that was swimming in the water of New Orleans the day before.  A culinary delight!  This is followed by a Ladies Night Out of Glassblowing!

March brings us another great Club Cruise to Dockton, then the GHYC Island’s Race for those into racing.  WIC, the Ladies Grand 14 luncheon, will be at Meydenbauer YC and our final Dinners for 8.

Please note, every week on Thursday there is a Men’s Lunch, all men are welcome.  Committees are already working hard on future activities for Daffodil Celebration at TYC, and Opening Day, Seattle!
