On Saturday, BYC boaters leave their slips to head out on their own Memorial Day Cruise. Beginning at noon, GHYC boaters start filling those slips to begin our own Memorial Day celebration. ...a unique relationship we value and have enjoyed for decades. BYC's spacious clubhouse, park and pavilion overlooking Phinney Bay is an ideal setting for GHYC's Memorial Day Weekend Cruise, a 40+ year tradition.
Thanks to Bremerton Yacht Club, our tradition continues!
Chris and Dave are very excited about being your hosts at BYC and hope to see a BIG CROWD at this BIG EVENT! Good food, entertainment and cruisemate bonding is the formula that has always made this cruise special. Register for the cruise through this GHYC event page. If coming by boat, you MUST click on both Cruise Registration AND Slip Registration.
It's also possible to drive in for Friday or Saturday or both, but you still need to register on the website.
If coming by powerboat, you will be asked about the minimum height of your boat, with antennas, radar arch, and all the tall stuff lowered as much as possible. Many of the Bremerton slips are in covered sheds or boathouses that will limit our occupancy.
Cruise charges are estimated to be around $65 per person for the entire cruise, billed to your Club accounts after the fact.
There will be no charge for your slip.

DOGS and other PETS - GHYC Board Ratified: 2023-11-15
It is of utmost importance to GHYC, that we maintain fun and safe environments for members and/or pets on Club cruises and other Club event locations. Dogs and/or other pets are permitted on cruises and other events unless otherwise noted in event documentation or venue rules.
Where pets are permitted:
- When on the dock(s) or in an event area they shall remain on a leash no more than 4 feet in length and under the direct control of the member owner.
- Members are responsible for picking up after their pet(s) and disposal of pet waste into proper containers.
- Any damage caused by an animal will be the direct responsibility of the owner.
- If a pet has a history of aggression toward other pets and/or people, that pet shall be physically restrained when not on the owner’s boat or other secure area.
- Owners are responsible to keep their pets under noise control at all times. Excessive barking or other distracting pet noise will not be tolerated especially when the pet is left alone on the owner’s vessel, car or other area.
- Pet owners will also adhere to any pet rules/restrictions posted at a marina or other event site.

Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellations after 5 days prior to the event will be charged the entire cost of the event up to and including the first nights moorage.
