GHYC joins TYC for the 2026 Daffodil Marine Festival & Parade
April 17-19, 2026
Tacoma Yacht Club’s Daffodil Festival 2026 is rapidly approaching. This year’s theme is “Bloom Where the World Takes You”. Come join GHYC at TYC to celebrate the 74th annual Daffodil Marine Festival and Parade.
The Daffodil Marine Parade route begins at the Tacoma Yacht Club continuing East along the Commencement Bay shoreline from Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park to the Thea Foss Waterway.
GHYC is proud of being among the most loyal participants in the annual Daffodil Festival. This year's event should prove to be one of the finest TYC has ever put on and your participation is encouraged.
Come cheer for our GHYC Triva Team and token at the Token Parade. Join in the fun Sunday morning to help decorate our GHYC parade boat. You won't be sorry. Sign up today!
The registration process begins on this GHYC event page by registering yourself, spouse/partner, guests and slip for your boat. Register for the entire weekend or any of the Friday, Saturday or Sunday events.
Registration Deadline is March 21, 2026 or sooner if capacity is reached.

3. Daffy Charge Cards
Daffy Charge Cards will be issued to any visitors wanting to use the TYC clubhouse restaurant or bar during the Daffodil Festival. Use your Daffy Card to charge food and drinks during Daffodil weekend. Your payment information will be taken when you pickup your card(s) and will be linked to your Daffy Card. Additional linked cards available upon request. Valid ID required.
Please come to the clubhouse starting at 9am Friday, April 17, 2026 to pickup your card/pass. If applicable, the entry fee will be charged the first time you come to the clubhouse and a card/pass will be issued for each participant. Please have your pass each time you visit the clubhouse.

7 PM - Trivia Seating and Token Parade placement
7:30 PM -"Neon Nights" themed party featuring live music and dancing to the band "Lost & Found".
Sat, April 18th
1:30 PM - Trivia Token Parade
2-4 PM - Pub Style Trivia Contest
5:30 - 8 PM - Dinner Buffet, followed by music and dancing with country and western band, "Nic Cane".
Sun, April 19th
9:00 AM - Decorate GHYC Parade boat
11:30 AM - Boat Parade
DOGS and other PETS - GHYC Board Ratified: 2023-11-15
It is of utmost importance to GHYC, that we maintain fun and safe environments for members and/or pets on Club cruises and other Club event locations.
Dogs and/or other pets are permitted on cruises and other events unless otherwise noted in event documentation or venue rules.
Where pets are permitted:
- When on the dock(s) or in an event area they shall remain on a leash no more than 4 feet in length and under the direct control of the member owner.
- Members are responsible for picking up after their pet(s) and disposal of pet waste into proper containers.
- Any damage caused by an animal will be the direct responsibility of the owner.
- If a pet has a history of aggression toward other pets and/or people, that pet shall be physically restrained when not on the owner’s boat or other secure area.
- Owners are responsible to keep their pets under noise control at all times. Excessive barking or other distracting pet noise will not be tolerated especially when the pet is left alone on the owner’s vessel, car or other area.
- Pet owners will also adhere to any pet rules/restrictions posted at a marina or other event site.

Registration is required before Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:30 PM
Registration cancellations will be accepted until Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 11:30 PM
Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellations after 5 days prior to the event will be charged the entire cost of the event up to and including the first nights moorage.
