The Swantown Marina Cruise draws more GHYC members and guests than any other cruise event. This year will no doubt be bigger and better than last. Your Host, Angela Gilham, has you covered with Happy Hours, Dinner in Town, Breakfasts, and Entertainment. And, of course, the Saturday night indulgence; Puget Sound's famous "Better Than Prime" prime rib, slowly smoked on rotisserie spits to sweet perfection. ...as only Chef Olsen can do. You MUST REGISTER for the Prime Rib DInner as a separate activity in the registration process.
Swantown is a "must do" event for all members. Come join in the food and fun. Satisfaction guaranteed! Drive in or cruise in. It's a short jaunt either way. REGISTER NOW!
You'll need to register for a slip when you sign-up for the cruise on this event page. Otherwise we won't know if you are coming by boat or driving in.
And this year, Swantown has a new online process to reserve and pay for your slip. Every member needs to make their individual reservation before May 19th, 2026, otherwise the unbooked slips will be released to the public to reserve.
Please follow these steps to make your reservation for your boat online. If you are unable to book online, please call the marina so that they can make the reservation over the phone at 360-528-8049.

1) Enter your arrival and departure dates and the length, beam and draft of your boat.
2) Choose either 120V/Single 30 Amp or 120V/Single 50 Amp depending on your electrical needs. They have limited 50A pedestals available, and we will try to accommodate your needs to our best ability.
3) Enter our Group Code: GH2026
4) Scroll to the offer Gig Harbor Yacht Club 2026 on the left side of the screen. and click “Select”.
At a later point in the reservation, if needed you can add specific requests for a certain type of space, and they will try to accommodate your request as best as possible (e.g. port side tie or linear moorage preferred).
5) Click the bright green “Start Booking” button to continue your booking.
Complete your booking by following the prompts for information about yourself, your boat and your payment method.
6) Once you have completed your reservation, you will receive confirmation of your booking and slip assignment. You will be assigned to the most optimal slip for your size vessel. Boats of your club will be grouped together automatically.
They have reserved slips for the Gig Harbor Yacht Club until May 19th, 2026 , at which time a reservation request must be completed. On May 19th, all un-reserved slips will be released to public. Once released all reservations will be based on availability.
